Backstage is a small, owner-run Townhouse with just seven rooms – and a big love for music, design, and warm hospitality. Our home is set in a lovingly restored, over 200-year-old traditional Maltese townhouse, located in the heart of Sliema. We’re just a short walk from the promenade, restaurants, swimming spots, and the ferry to Valletta.

Each of our rooms is individually styled and named after a legend – from Bob Marley to Amy Winehouse. We’ve created a unique and personal atmosphere where you can feel at home from the moment you arrive.

As your hosts, we are often around and happy to connect with our guests – whether over breakfast or by sharing local tips for the perfect day on the island.

A freshly prepared breakfast is always included and served on our cozy rooftop terrace, with views over Sliema’s rooftops. Free Wi-Fi and many thoughtful details help make your stay even more enjoyable. We’re also happy to arrange airport transfers on request.
